Inventory operations in-store are a strategic action because they make it possible to guarantee the precision of real stock available on the store floor (as opposed to theoretical stock, which can be subject to data-entry errors).Although accounting and sales issues are decisive, physical inventories in-store are often not exhaustive or regular because, for stores, they are a fastidious task that requires human resources to be tied up for a relatively long period of time.
Thanks to the Duraltag/RFID+ solution, stores can perform their inventories 10 times more quickly and benefit from an accuracy rate that is 9.9 times higher than traditional inventories (bar codes). The software application, which is embedded in the reader, enables stores to carry out different types of inventories structured according to their needs – blind inventory, expected inventory, inventory by brand or category of article, etc.
Thus, the accuracy of the inventory operations performed by a simultaneous reading of articles equipped with the Duraltag/RFID+ solution enables you to adjust stock and, as a result, to increase the availability of articles on the shelves (thus limiting retail interruptions in-store).

The growth of EPC labels is largely borne by the fashion/apparel sector, where consumption volume was 1.5 billion units in 2011. This sector is based on an attractive economic model that accrues profits in the short-term as well as competitive structural advantages.
Fashion and apparel products accrue a certain number of characteristics that make the use of EPC labels appropriate. These are products for which interruption is invisible. Identifying interruptions is particularly difficult because of the way they are managed according to size, model, or color. Noting an interruption using a simple visual inspection is generally impossible because it is one size in one color that will be interrupted and not an entire category. Furthermore, these are products that are highly specific. These products are not easy to substitute (brand, size, color, model, etc.)
These are products that seasonality fast makes obsolete, and so for which price mark-downs are an important issue.
